GWJ Policies

At GraphicsWithJaz, my mission is to provide a seamless, professional, and creative experience from concept to completion. Whether you are pursuing a full brand identity transformation or a smaller design project, I am committed to delivering high-quality work tailored to your unique needs.

To ensure clarity, transparency, and mutual understanding throughout our collaboration, please carefully review the following policies. These terms are designed to establish clear expectations, safeguard both parties, and ensure smooth project execution.

1. Project Initiation and Deposits

  • A la carte services require 100% upfront payment before work begins.
  • Branding packages require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Work will not begin until the deposit is received.
  • The remaining balance for branding packages is due upon project completion and prior to delivery of final files.

2. Turnaround Times

  • Turnaround times vary based on project scope. Standard projects are typically completed within 5-7 business days for A la Carte services and Brand Packages typically will be completed withing 14-21 business days. Weekends and holidays are excluded.
  • Rush services may be available for an additional fee. Availability will be confirmed before project acceptance.

3. Revisions

  • Each package includes up to 3 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed at $25 per round.
  • Revisions are limited to adjustments of existing concepts. Major design direction changes will require a new project agreement and quote.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed securely through approved invoicing platforms (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, or other listed platforms).
  • Final files will not be released until full payment is received.
  • If payment or communication is not received within 5 business days, the project will be placed on hold. A $150 restoration fee will apply to resume work.
  • Late payments may incur additional interest or penalties as permitted by law.

5. Communication and Availability

  • Communication will be conducted via email unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Response times are within 24–48 business hours.
  • Clear and respectful communication is required. Abusive or disrespectful behavior will result in termination of the project without refund.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Due to the nature of creative services, no refunds will be issued once work has begun.
  • If I am unable to complete the project due to circumstances on my end, a refund will be provided for uncompleted work.

7. Ownership and Copyright

  • Full ownership rights of the final, approved designs will be transferred to the client only after final payment is received in full.
  • GraphicsWithJaz retains the right to showcase completed work in a portfolio, website, or promotional material unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Raw working files (e.g., PSD, AI, INDD) remain the property of GraphicsWithJaz unless specifically purchased at an additional fee.
  • The client is responsible for securing licenses for any third-party assets (e.g., fonts, stock images) unless explicitly stated in the project agreement.

8. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide accurate and timely information (brand assets, content, feedback, etc.) to prevent delays.
  • Delayed responses or approvals may result in extended timelines and/or rescheduling of your project.
  • The client is responsible for reviewing proofs carefully. Once approved, GraphicsWithJaz is not liable for errors or factual inaccuracies provided by client.

9. Scope of Work

  • The agreed project scope will be clearly defined by the client and designer. (5-7 business days for A la Carte services and Brand Packages typically will be completed withing 14-21 business days. Weekends and holidays are excluded)
  • Any additional work requested outside of scope (e.g., additional designs, extended revisions) will require a separate estimate and may extend deadlines.

10. File Delivery

  • Final deliverables will be provided in standard industry formats (PNG, JPG, PDF, and vector formats such as SVG, where applicable).
  • Delivery will be made via email or secure download link after full payment is received.
  • GraphicsWithJaz will retain copies of project files for 30 days after delivery. After this period, file archiving is not guaranteed.

11. Chargebacks and Disputes

  • Chargebacks or payment disputes for services already rendered and delivered are strictly prohibited.
  • In the event of a chargeback, GraphicsWithJaz reserves the right to pursue legal action for recovery of fees, damages, and associated costs.
  • Clients who issue chargebacks will be permanently barred from working with GraphicsWithJaz in the future.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • GraphicsWithJaz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of delivered designs.
  • The client assumes responsibility for the use and distribution of the final deliverables.
  • In no event shall GraphicsWithJaz’s total liability exceed the amount paid for the project.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking services with GraphicsWithJaz, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and policies.
